I hold a “Droit de Pratique” from the “Service du médecin cantonal”, which allows me to practice as a counsellor in Geneva. I received my Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of the Witwatersrand (Johannesburg, South Africa) and my Master of Arts in Counselling from Webster University Geneva. I am currently in the process of obtaining my certification as a Classical Adlerian Depth Psychotherapist (CADP), a 4-5 year endeavor undertaken through the Alfred Adler Institute of San Francisco and Northwestern Washington.
My previous work experience includes that of a social skills counsellor for All Special Kids (ASK), a non-profit organization helping to support children with learning differences and special educational needs. I completed my Masters internship hours as a counselling intern at the Webster University Geneva Student Counseling Service, the British School of Geneva, and Steve Biko Academic Hospital (Pretoria, South Africa); and as a staff welfare intern at the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA).
Originally from South Africa, I have been living and working in the Geneva region since 2011. As an expatriate living abroad, I have an intimate understanding of the impact of international relocation on young adults.
